Welcome to Talkolive ("we," "our," or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your information when you use Talkolive. By using Talkolive, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Talkolive. By creating an account or using any feature of Talkolive, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate that account immediately.

2. Community Conduct

We ask every user of Talkolive to be kind and respectful toward others. This helps ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone on the platform. Any behavior that violates this expectation — including harassment, abuse, hate speech, or harmful content — may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from Talkolive.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, profile details.
• Usage Data: How you interact with Talkolive, features used, session duration.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, IP address.
• Content You Provide: Messages, media, or other content shared through Talkolive.
• Host Application Information: If you apply to become a host, we additionally collect your mobile phone number and bank details, along with the name, photo, and bio you submit, and an agency code where applicable. This is only collected if you choose to submit a Host Request.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain Talkolive's features.
• Personalize your experience.
• Communicate with you about updates, offers, or support.
• Monitor for safety, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement.
• Improve our services and troubleshoot issues.
• Review and approve Host Requests, and contact you about your application or account.
• Pay out host earnings — this is the sole purpose your bank details are used for.

Your mobile phone number and bank details are never shown to other users.

5. How We Protect Your Privacy

We take the protection of your privacy and personal information seriously. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is sent between the app and our servers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Your mobile phone number and bank details are only accessed by authorized Talkolive staff who process host applications and payouts. We may share limited data with:

• Service providers who help us operate Talkolive, such as Google Firebase, Agora, Google Play, and Branch.
• Legal authorities, if required by law.
• Other parties, only with your explicit consent.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by visiting talkolive.com/delete-account.html. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, messages, balance, and the details from your Host Request, including your mobile phone number and bank details. Some records (e.g. transaction history required for accounting/legal purposes) may be retained in an anonymized form with your personal details removed. Processing is completed within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information.
• Withdraw consent for data processing (subject to legal/contractual limits).
• Contact us with any privacy-related concerns.

9. Terms & Conditions

Use of Talkolive is also governed by our Terms & Conditions. By using Talkolive, you agree to comply with both this Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions. Continued use of Talkolive constitutes your ongoing agreement to these terms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Talkolive after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
